The maintenance and maintenance of the turning tool of the automatic machine tool mainly include the hydraulic system, spindle lubrication system, guide rail lubrication system, cooling system, and air pressure system. Daily inspection is to detect according to the normal conditions of each system. For example, when the process detection of the spindle lubrication system is carried out, the power light should be on and the hydraulic pump should operate normally. If the power light is not on, the spindle should be kept stopped and the mechanical engineer should be contacted.
After being fully familiar with and mastering the knowledge of preventive maintenance, it is also necessary to have a deeper understanding and necessary mastery of the causes and treatment of abnormal phenomena in the hydraulic system. For example, when the oil pump does not spray oil, the pressure is abnormal, there is noise, etc., you should know what the main reasons are and what corresponding solutions are there. Abnormal pressure: that is, the pressure is too high or too low. The main reasons are also multifaceted, such as improper pressure setting, poor operation of the pressure regulating valve coil, abnormal pressure gauge, leaks in the oil pressure system, etc. The corresponding solutions include disassembly and cleaning according to the specified pressure setting, replacing a normal pressure gauge, and checking each system in turn.
The oil pump does not spray oil: The main reasons may be low liquid level in the oil tank, oil pump reversal, too low speed, too high oil viscosity, low oil temperature, filter blockage, too large volume of the oil suction pipe, air inhalation at the oil inlet, damaged shaft and rotor, etc. There are corresponding solutions to the main reasons, such as filling oil, confirming the label, changing when the oil pump reverses, etc. There is generally no essential difference between the indexable turning tools used in CNC lathes and ordinary lathes, and their basic structure and functional characteristics are the same. However, the CNC lathe process is automated, so the requirements for the indexable turning tools used on it are different from those for ordinary lathes.

The turning tool should not be placed on the bed surface to avoid damaging the guide rails. If you need to put it on top, first cover the automatic lathe with a bed cover, and put the tools and turning tools on the bed cover.
1. When sanding the workpiece, cover the bed surface under the workpiece with a bed cover or paper; after sanding, wipe the bed surface carefully.
2. When turning cast iron workpieces, install the guardrail cover on the choke plate, and wipe off the lubricating oil on the bed surface where the chips can splash.
3. When not in use, the lathe must be cleaned and maintained to prevent chips, sand or impurities from entering the sliding surface of the lathe guide rails, "biting" the guide rails or aggravating their wear.
4. Before using the cooling lubricant, the garbage in the lathe guide rails and the cooling lubricant tray must be removed; after use, the cooling lubricant on the guide rails must be wiped dry and mechanical lubrication and maintenance must be added.
